In the repair step, the discolored gaps should be pried open first and the original glue should be cleaned. The next step is to adjust the adhesive. It is best to use the same color resin adhesive from the board factory to add quartz powder and stir, and add curing agent according to the on-site temperature and humidity (excessive curing agent can cause yellowing or adhesive lines). Then fill in the prepared adhesive, as it will shrink after solidification, and the adhesive should be higher than the board surface. Finally, there is polishing. After the glue has completely solidified, a natural granite polishing machine can be used to grind the water grinding plate from 50 to 3000 mesh from coarse to fine, making the plate bright and smooth as new.
How to maintain the quartz stone countertop
1. Scrub with detergent. After scrubbing, you can apply car wax or furniture wax from your home to the surface, and after it dries, use a dry cloth to wipe back, which will add a protective film to the countertop. It is particularly important to note that if there are stains at the joints of the countertop, it is recommended to scrub them in a timely manner and wax them here, as the frequency of waxing can be higher
2. Do not place high-temperature objects directly on the quartz stone, otherwise it will damage the surface of the quartz stone. Do not forcefully strike the countertop or cut things directly on the countertop, as this will damage the countertop.
3. Try to keep the surface dry as much as possible. Water contains a large amount of bleach and scale. If placed for a long time, the color of the countertop will fade, affecting its aesthetics. If this situation occurs, spray BiLi Zhu or cleaning solution and repeatedly wipe until it turns bright.
4. Strictly prevent strong chemicals from coming into contact with the surface. Quartz stone countertops have long-lasting damage resistance, but it is still necessary to avoid contact with strong chemicals such as paint removers, metal cleaners, stove cleaners, etc. Do not come into contact with dichloromethane, acetone, or strong acid cleaning agents.
